Pool Opening Checklist

1. Pump water off winter cover if necessary.

2. Remove cover and lay out to dry.

3. Add water to the pool to top off level if needed.

4. Hook up hoses and put drain caps back on filter and pump.

5. Install return fitting (eyeball).

6. Remove Aquador and/or gizzmo from skimmer if necessary.

7. Start pump if water level is high enough.

8. Brush the walls and bottom before vacuuming.

9. If you need to vacuum on waste, add water while vacuuming.

a. If the water is extremely dirty, you may need to vacuum on waste.

b. If there are a lot of leaves in the bottom, using a Leaf Eater first would be the best idea.

10. Circulate water for at least 24 hours.

11. Bring in a sample for testing to our store.

12. Add opening chemicals, after we test your water.
